CCIS (CMA CGM Inland Services) is a subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, dedicated to the development of land transport solutions.
It offers complete and integrated logistics solutions with high added value, adapted to the specific needs of its customers throughout their supply chain: storage, picking, kitting, processing of packaged goods, post-manufacturing and loading and unloading.

THE ROLE

The Strategic Business Developer acts as a key partner to senior management in driving the development of CCIS footprint (depots, inland terminals, and multi-service platforms) from opportunity screening through executive validation, and up to operational deployment when approved.

This is a strategic position at CCIS Head Office, combining business development, investment analysis, executive decision-making, and project execution. The role translates opportunities into structured investment cases and ensures delivery in a dynamic governance environment.

It requires a strong ability to operate and produce in a fastdecision cycle, with frequent tight deadlines, executive arbitrations, and potential stopandgo decisions on projects.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?

Opportunity assessment & Strategic alignment

- Identify, assess and structure new development opportunities across the inland network (greenfield or M&A);
- Coordinate internal stakeholders (Agency, operations, finance, legal, technical, commercial) to gather inputs and ensure strategic alignment with Group strategy and priorities;
- Define initial hypotheses, risks and value drivers to support early-stage decision-making.

Investment analysis & Executive communication

- Build and challenge business cases, including business plans, feasibility studies, investment plans and sensitivities analyses (Excel-based);
- Synthetize financial, operational and strategic inputs into clear, decision-oriented recommendations;
- Prepare COMEX / Chairman-level deliverables (investment memo, slides etc.) for internal validation;

Project governance & Execution

- After the project validation, drive project implementation through to operational delivery and hypercare phase;
- Coordinate and monitor all project workstreams (engineering, operational, handling equipment, HR, IT, financing and tax, QSSE, legal etc.);
- Lead projects and steering committees with operational teams, executive stakeholders and top management;
- Monitor projects KPI to ensure adherence to the approved financial targets, timeline and operational standards;
- Ensure smooth project handover to the Operations phase (hypercare phase);

Stakeholder management

- Interface with CMA CGM Agency Management, CMA CGM departments (ILS, Procurement, Legal, IT, Tax..) and CCIS operational experts
- Engage external stakeholders (authorities, partners, suppliers etc.)
- Conduct field visits to ensure alignment between strategy and operational realities.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

- Master's degree - with strong foundation in finance and business analysis;
- Experience in roles combining business development/strategy, financial analysis and project execution;
- Strong ability to build and challenge business cases;
- Excellent communication skills, with ability to produce structured and decision-ready COMEX materials;
- Agility, resilience, in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines
- Pragmatic and comfortable operating between strategic thinking and operational execution;
- Fluent in English and French.
