YOUR ROLE
Within the dedicated Project Cargo Division, the successful candidate will be responsible for pricing and commercial development of Out Of Gauge (OOG) cargo on the Asia - Europe trade, with the objective of driving business growth and maximizing profitability for the Group.
Reporting to the Project Cargo management, the role requires strong commercial aumen to identify new business opportunities, while coordinating and leading sales initiatives in close collaboration with local offices and regional teams.
The position also involves working cross-functionally across the CMA CGM organization to ensure the efficient and seamless end-to-end handling of oversized and heavy lift cargo.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Reporting to the Project Desk Manager and working closely with Line Management, you will:
- Define and implement pricing strategies and commercial policies for the OOG segment across assigned trades and countries
- Perform technical feasibility studies for out-of-gauge cargo across existing trades and port rotations
- Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and secure project cargo business with customers and internal sales teams
- Maintain daily coordination with trade teams to share market intelligence and provide strategic recommendations to optimize performance (revenues, volumes, market share, and cargo mix efficiency)
- Lead and coordinate sales actions across the sales network, supporting local agents in promoting our capabilities and enhancing their commercial performance
- Monitor and analyze agents' performance, producing regular reports with actionable insights and improvement plans
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Operations, Cargo Flow, Logistics, Local Sales, and Booking teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- You are pursuing a Master's degree in Business, Logistic or Transport
- You have a good knowledge of operational activities or project cargo experience would be an asset
- You are fluent in English and you have good command of computer and Office tools (especially Excel)
- You have organisational skills, are autonomous and show initiative
- Your interpersonal skills, sense of communication and negotiation skills will make you a valuable team-player and enable you to develop the performance of special projects on your area
